Brume Ceramics
A small shop for wood-fired stoneware from a two-person studio above Kyoto, released one firing at a time.

01 — The brief
Brume fires four times a year and sells out in days, but announced firings only on Instagram. Collectors missed releases and the studio spent a week answering messages after each one.
02 — The approach
The site is built around the firing calendar: a countdown to the next release, a waiting list, and a page for each firing with every piece photographed on the same plinth. A soft serif and wide margins keep it as quiet as the studio.
03 — The result
The spring firing, 300 pieces, sold out in 11 minutes, and the studio received almost no messages afterwards.
Every page, designed

In the client’s words
We spend our time at the kiln again, not in our inbox.
