Pier Nine
A site for a gallery in a former grain store on the Antwerp docks, showing six exhibitions a year by early-career artists.

01 — The brief
Pier Nine's exhibitions were strong but its website treated every show the same way: a poster, a date, a press release. Younger audiences didn't know the gallery existed.
02 — The approach
Each exhibition gets its own colour and layout inside a strict white system, so the site changes as often as the walls do. Opening nights and Thursday late openings are the first thing on the page, with an add-to-calendar button.
03 — The result
Visitor numbers rose 48% in the first year, and Thursday late openings now fill the ground floor.
Every page, designed

In the client’s words
Artists ask to see how their show will look on the site before they sign.
