Booking from January 2027
I take on four projects a year so each one gets my full attention. Two slots are open in 2027. A short call is the fastest way to hold one.

- 01Brief
A 1920s quinta with twelve rooms and a 2014 website. Bookings arrived by email and got lost. The site had to sell a feeling first and a room second.
- 02Voice
One sentence under the photograph, written with the owners: short, warm, no adjectives about luxury. It sets the tone for every page after it.
- 03Rooms
Three rooms, three widths. The middle image drops 140 px so the row reads like a walk down the corridor, not a product grid.
- 04Place
The cliffs get a full-bleed band with no text on top. On phones it crops to 4:5 around the waterfall so the best part survives.
- 05Result
Launched in March. Direct bookings rose 62% in the first season, and the owners answer half as many emails.

Web design01
Layout, type and the writing that holds it together. Every page designed for desktop, tablet and phone, with the boring pages given the same care as the home page.
Art direction02
Photography briefs, crops, colour and the one image each page is built around. I direct shoots or work with what you already have.
Framer builds03
Built by the person who designed it, with a CMS your team can run, motion that explains, and a site that scores in the high nineties.
Six weeks, start to launch
Most sites take six to nine weeks. You get something you can click at the end of every week.
- Week 1
The brief
We write the whole site as plain sentences before anything is designed.
→ A one-page brief you sign off - Week 2
Direction
Two routes for type, colour and image, shown on your real home page.
→ One chosen direction - Weeks 3–4
Design
Every page at desktop, tablet and phone, including the boring ones.
→ A clickable prototype - Week 5
Build
Built in Framer with a CMS named the way your team talks.
→ A private staging site - Week 6
Launch
Testing on real phones, redirects, SEO, and a recorded training call.
→ Your site, live - +30 days
Aftercare
Fixes and small changes for a month after launch, included.
→ A calm first month
Same hotel, twelve years apart
Halden House's 2014 site said 'luxury' four times and showed one photo. The new one says it once, quietly, and lets the building do the rest.

sites launched since 2017, from four-page hotels to 900-product shops
Site of the Day awards, plus six Developer Awards
average Lighthouse performance score across live client sites
projects a year, so every client gets a whole person
Guests arrive already knowing which room they want and why. The site does the talking we used to do on the phone.

Write the site before you design it
Every project I'm proud of started with a document, not a mood board. Here is the one-page brief I write before opening Figma.

How I price a website
I stopped quoting by the page three years ago. This is the week-based model I use instead, and why clients like it better.

A portfolio is a wall, not a list
Clients hire web designers by looking at websites. So why do most portfolios show three thumbnails and a paragraph?
Got a website that should look like the thing you make?
